Bio
I’m an editorial and commercial photographer and filmmaker based in South Bend, Indiana, telling stories with a whole lotta heart.
My path started in 2012, when I served in the Peace Corps in Cambodia. My point-and-shoot came with me everywhere as I biked the countryside, and it became my way of connecting with my community rather than just observing it. When I came home, I pursued that instinct at the University of Missouri, where I earned my M.A. in journalism with an emphasis on photojournalism.
That combination still shapes my work: get close, pay attention, and make images with care and craft for editorial and commercial projects alike. The camera is how I engage with people and places, and how I make sense of them.
When I’m not out shooting, you’ll find me on a run or in the kitchen, perfecting my fried chicken sandwich.

I am based in South Bend, Indiana, which means Chicago, Indianapolis, Detroit, Grand Rapids, and Kalamazoo are a short drive away.

I am Part 107 certified by the FAA and legally able to fly drones for commercial clients.
